Technically the words are not related at all. They come from different roots. Complaining about it is on par with saying the word posse is an offensive reference to female genitalia.

It just proves that people are not only overly sensitive, but they're stupid as well.

There is a bigger and far worse reaction when someone says "n*gger" than if they said "mother f*cker".
Think about that.

It's somehow worse to use a derogatory term, than it is to suggest that a person has sexual intercourse with their own biological mother.
Likely without ample protection.
Knowing your mother...

people are only overly sensitive if you get to be the one to define normal. You can use whatever words you like but that doesn't gaurentee no reaction. Go ahead and use it if you want to that bad. Just don't bitch about the reaction if it is a predictable one.

Say something stupid or knowingly offensive and we get it: there will be backlash. You're not telling us something we don't understand.

But the backlash for the "n-word" is disproportionate based on any common sense application of the term "normal".

I would think that only a person who actually effed his mother would be offended by the term.

according to you if you get to define normal. apparently in reality you are wrong. the reality is you can say it and predict the reaction.

Dude.
I post about being "overly sensitive".
You use that term in the very next post.
So you were addressing my post and you missed the point. Which was NOT the m'fer joke.

yes I did play off the overly sensitive part but didn't miss the point. I actually agreed with some of what you said so didn't comment. it is weird how we as a society find one more or equally offensive as the other.. but we do....

to be honest I didn't feel like I was responding directly to you or your thought.... those words sparked a thought and I typed it.... it isn't all about you

meh.
