First ever time listening to:

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Skeleton Tree

With all the talk, hadda find out what this guy sounded like. Interesting. Will have to give some of his other albums a listen.

79 F / 71% RH / 8 mph- cooled down considerably from earlier

Harvey may like others that I don't like so much, but I suggest
Dig, Lazarus, Dig

Abattoir Blues/The Lyre (a two disc set)

and a couple of soundtracks that are nothing like his work with The Bad Seeds...

The Road and an Australian Jessie James movie

I have listened to several others that were too much like personal poetry readings or at least not my cuppa tea.

Steven Wilson and Dirk Serries - Continuum II The Continuum Recyclings, Volume II

This too is prolly something MACS won't want to hear.

Girls Talk, a song form Rockpile. Then I listened to the original from Elvis Costello. Then I listened to Linda Ronstadt's just for perspective.

SRV - Texas Flood (Legacy Edition)

Can't believe I missed the anniversary of his passing - August 27, 1990

Well, although he was sober by then, raising a belated cup in his memory.

Next week Sunday the 18th marks the 46th year of Hendrix's passing.

79 F / 73% RH / 5 mph - rained earlier- UH beats Tenn-Martin 41-36 for it's first win of the football season

Crime of the Century - wonder if my ex wife still has my vinyl...and if she'd give it back......one of those albums that demands a turntable and a pair of those 5 pound Koss headphones....and a knob that goes to 11

Yeah... music soothes the soul.
Watching a growing sewage drainage problem grow into the 10-5k's on our new house Can't use the any water in the house. May have to dig not only our yard, the neighbors driveway, but also the street to repair a problem not disclosed to us when we purchased. Of course this happens on the anniversary of another family suicide, and the same day I had to return my .308 semi. My pronghorn season is cancelled.

I ain't drunk, I'm just drinkin'... and hoping to get away from it all.

Get off here in about an hour. Stop in at the Vets Hall for a coupla beers and cigars.

Got my trusty old iPhone 4S. And my Monster iClarity HD Bluetooth speaker. It'll be connected to the public wifi at the Vets Hall. Listening to Pandora Radio. Got several varied channels.

Tonight might be a Joe Satriani kinda night.

🍺

Note: I liked that Shemekia Copeland in cacman's post. =d>
Edit: ^ Not to mention the production and the guitars! 🙂

To repair the line and grade, we may have to dig our yard, our neighbor's yard next to us, across the street, and into the middle of the driveway of the neighbor across the street. Or abandon the old line, dig a new one through our yard, across the street, and into a different neighbor's yard across the street, requiring a new tap fee. The new line would be straight and less distance, compared to our old "S" shaped line that runs less than 2ft below the surface.

I am so f*cked! May have to contact an attorney and go after the Town/County for allowing this to pass inspection. The current line does not conform to building code. If I sell, I'll loose my ass unless I lie like the last owner and not disclose the problem. If I dig and fix correctly, I may have to re-mortgage the house to come up with the money. $10k won't even get me started!

I'm just going to start drinking heavily!
