For a year now, Shannen has been working on her Doctorate at UMN while I've been stuck here in CT.

I finally have my tickets to get the hell out of this place and go spend the next several years in a frozen wasteland with the love of my life. Could be the rest of my life, hope not. Not a fan of the cold.

I know some of you cynical bassturds won't be too excited for me, that's alright. I'm happy! Having a good cigar tonight.

Three more months. Too damned long, hope it goes by quick.

I like Minneapolis and get there a couple times a year. It's a nice place. Your boyfriend is a lucky man.

I give ya a week in gerbil city in December before you decide its just not worth it. . .

J/K, well sort of. . .

Good luck to ya. There's a reason I refuse to work at corporate and choose to stay in NC .

I turned down a job in Red Lake once... Would have been a tribal cop at a reservation up there... was told there was a real high suicide rate at the time... just didn't sound like somethin I needed to get into... 😟

I lived there for five or six weeks last year, January to February. Was terrible. But, I really love that woman.

Follow your heart. If you don't you will always second guess yourself with "what ifs..."

Pretty country in MN. They have about one beautiful month of summer each year. Enjoy it.

Congrats on the impending move. I'm jealous, would love to live up in that area not only for the fishing there, but it's that much closer to Canadia for fishing too eh.

Congrats Harvey! You learn to live with the cold. I am about 35 miles from Milwaukee. The winters are cold, but not as cold as yours can be.

Only for the 3 months those lakes aren't frozen solid.

Excellent EXCELENT fishing. Walleye (my favorite), northern and musky, crappie, bass are virtually throw away fish and as a result are abundant. Minnesota and the Dakotas combined with south central Canada are my favorite fishing holes.
