I was thinking about it earlier and I was like I don't like the line of the game.... But I do like chip so it will be interesting non the less.

It essentiall is a tie breaker.... If the Rams win by 1-2 points then San Fran covers the line.

If they win by 3 or more Rams cover the line. The actual line on the game is Rams +3 but there would be a "push" if they win by three which means no one would win. So he took the extra half point to ensure there isn't a push

Look at it this way. When the game is over subtract 2.5 points from the Rams. If they still win then they "covered the line"

If you subtract 2.5 from their final and they lose San Fran "covers the line"

San Francisco holds 3rd place on my "teams I despise" list for two reasons . . .
Chip Kelly and Colin Kaepernick.
I was hoping they would go 0-16 this year, but now i have to hope for 1-15. 🤬

Well I'm an Eagles fan, so I should hate Chip. However his failed GM stint aside, I liked him as a coach.

As for Kaepernick, while I respect his right to free speech, I don't support anyone who sits/ takes a knee for the duration of the national anthem. So I'm glad he isn't actually playing.

Now I remember why I wasn't too distressed when the Lambs left L.A. many years ago. They were the 49er's bitch then and their stink smells familiar...
