So let's make johnson/Weld a viable option. By not voting 3rd party we keep 3rd party irrelevant. At one time time the Republican and Democratic parties were 3rd parties.

The 2 parties now have an alliance to keep both in power by eliminating alternative threats. I know a candidate that ran as a republican but wouldn't tow the party line had funding cut from the party in a local race. They'd rather have a dem hold an office rather than a rogue official voting his conscience under the umbrella of the party.
