Boy I sure am glad I snatched 3 cases of the 12 when it was plentiful here.

I have not seen weller 12 in the wild in about 2 years now and I travel a lot and stop at every liquor store I can! The two big chains in my parts of Indiana distribute it via lottery or keep it in back for good customers. The mom and pops laughed at me when I inquired about OWA.

I prefer OWA to the 12 yr.

Appears to be a Weller 12 sighting in Amarillo. Someone I know scored two handles and two fifth's of Weller 12 in the last couple of days.

I've never seen W12 in the wild in my parts to try, as I've never had any and I've been looking for a couple years.

Although, I was fooled in to believing that ETL was good also and it did not sit well on my palate. I'm not bashing it, it's just not for me- tasted like musty mold. So I wonder if W12 will be the same way for me, if I ever am fortunate to find any...

Talked to the liquor guy at my local.....he admitted that they have W12, but it's "allocated" to their commercial customers only.....](*,)

Went to a different store of same chain (Specs), and got put on an allocation list..... $27.50 a bottle if get one!
