Shared some 19 Crimes BANISHED with the deer camp tonight.

Retails around $12

The guys that love and hate wine all enjoyed it.

This one is new to the Sip. It's a dark red blend.

Hey Mr Frank

I've been sitting on 2 bottles I've saved for you. Sorry I've been dragging my feet.

After thanksgiving week, I'll send them out.

I would be honored!
But is there any chance you have some you have not sat on?

Valenzano Family Winery Jersey Devil Port...from Shaun.
Saved for Thanksgiving "dessert" with a smoke and a good friend.

Perfectly sweet and a nice way to end the day.

Thank you Shaun, you were worried for nothing!

last bottle of 2010 Cantina Zaccagnini
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

despite label saying "dry red wine" plenty of fruit in this poor man's super Tuscan impersonator.

Last bottle from my original purchase of that year to serve at a pizza dinner party before my daughter got married that Summer. On the advice of my shpo's guru, he was right. Tonight it was enhanced by the memories it rekindled.

Have bought a bottle every year since and it has been an uneven ride, but this bottle was as good as the original from that Summer, maybe better.

might have seen it around, has a little piece of wood tied to the front above the label. price has dropped over the years as well, probably low to mid teens now.

I'll tell ya Allen, I'm not sure why I finally opened it tonight. Reached for it so many times.
Happy I did, you nailed it, my friend.

2011 Herederos Del Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva...Spain
gift from my son's girlfriend that she got last Summer when visiting her native Albania. Really nice, easily drinkable. Soft fruit up front, softer earthiness on the finish,

Cline owns a ton of zinfandel too. affordable and easy to drink even for those who think they do not like red.

Cline sell a line of wines called ancient vines. They are all very interesting and worth a try. Also their Pinot Gris, and Viognier are both good.

never had their Pinot Gris. I've had their "cashmere".
I like some of the viognier I've tried, but I can't pronounce it.

Vee-own-yay. Tried the Cashmere in the past, good wine, but not a blend to my liking. Try the Pinot Gris with figs or baked apples drizzled with honey. The Viognier is great with peaches or apricots.
