Burgundian in style. Quite nice. Barnyard nose, rich dark berry flavor.

Low oak, just a hint of vannila on the finish, I think the alcohol was 12.5.

Smoking Loon Red Loon (blended red) haven't had a bad Smoking Loon. Good approachable, affordable Napa wine.

not a big cab, not much in the way of fruit forward going on here, but nice with soft tannins if any at all. IIRC I stole this for 9 bones.

2014 Ledger David Dark Knight (new release) tempranillo base, with malbec and syrah. Deep hearty red.

2013 Ledger David Orion's Nebula 58% cab. franc, 29% malbec, 10% petit verdot and 3% syrah. Much brighter red, super fruity nose.

Smooth, round, silky. Dark cherries and black raspberrys. Long finish. Great structure.

Grilled pork tenderloin with herbs.
Double cream brie.
Spring greens with oil and vinegar.
Tart cherries drizzled with honey.
