Oh man............I'm like a....................dunce.

From dpnewell: Horst, I enclosed a letter, but it must have been discarded. The main reason I sent you this package, is because I read in several threads that you enjoyed the UC Shade. The 4 unbanded cigars are UC Shade 2nds. I picked up several bundles for cheap (you know that's the only way I roll, LOL), and have smoked through a dozen or so. Except for the occasional slight wrapper defect, or discoloration, I have a hard time figuring out why these are 2nds. Many look perfect to me. All have smoked great, and taste like the 1sts.

The 2 dark DE cigars are micro blends, called Drew Estate Factory Bundles. From what I can tell, DE rolled 12 micro blends of only a few bundles each, and offered them as an exclusive to one e-tailer. I guess it was a way to use up odd lots of tobacco. The #2 uses a Connecticut Habano wrapper. To me, it has Liga/Nica Rustica notes, and is my favorite. The #1 uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, but really doesn't remind me of any current DE cigar.

Oh, and by the way, the Fuente is a Don Carlos.

I'd love to come back to Cbid, but unless Trish has a change of heart, forgives my previous stupidity and arrogance, and reopens my account, I'll continue to be on the outside looking in.

Enjoy the smokes, my brother.

Watch your P's and Q's, Jewboy.

Don't be getting me in trouble. 😳

I'm "Justa Nutha Brutha" trying to help a friend.
