Don't be obtuse macs. Any requirement can be racist or not racist.

SAT testing was initially put in place to reduce Jewish participation in colleges, because they thought Aryans would do better. Is knowledge of math and English racist? No. But if you're implementing a requirement with the intention of reducing participation by one race or another...

The simple fact that the reason given for requiring a license (rampant voter fraud) is not proven anywhere makes one suspicious.

Meh.. it seems like unnecessary restrictions. As someone who thinks we have too much regulation this seems like a solution without a problem. Or at least without a problem that anyone is willing to admit to.

My point is we are ALL required to have ID for all the things I listed. How is requiring one to vote any different. Hell, my friend was homeless (his choice) for 2 years... and he had an ID.

The only people that don't have ID's are homless. How do you rent an apartment without one? How do you go through life without an ID unless you're homeless?

You can't have a job. Or a bank account. Or make any major purchase... etc. I'm not being obtuse, you are.
