They never in a million years thought that there would be Americans working against Americans with greed as a motivating factor. The men that wrote the documents that forged our nation spoke multiple languages and were learned men. What they laid down as a framework is monumental and a real testament towards forward thinking. They also understood that there should be clauses as time and issues change. They weren't perfect men, but they did outline a perfect system.
If a law is a law then it should be upheld. If not then a new law should be written. Upholding legislation because it's a tax when it's not labeled as one is not correct, yet that is exactly how ObamaCare got passed. Rammed down our throats by parliamentary procedure games and funded with backroom deals, tax breaks and passed as a tax. How many Americans want MORE taxes? I know not one. I'm for paying my fair share and do, however there are certain people and corporations that do not. It is not my burden to make up the difference.
