hey group, anyone out there using a file sharing program without spyware that they are happy with? i'm using winmx, but most of the time the queue's are really backed up and the files mislabeled.

- pick a song .... just about any song and make a request via e-mail ... I probably already have it downloaded and will e-mail if I do ...

i have a boat load also but was looking for a site that was a lil quicker... with my new pc, i can now squirrel away alot of mpegs...

I've used several of 'em over the last few years, CJ and I honestly think WinMX is as about as good as you're going to get. I've had the same problems with mislabeled stuff (especially movies...grrrrr!...takes forever to download, then you find you got "Scooby Doo" instead of "Road to Perdition"). Morpheus is an alternative, but I've heard they've been having some recent problems related to the recording industry. Otherwise, I'd stick with WinMX, grin and bear it. Hey, you can't beat "free" 😉

morpheus, kazaa and the rest have spyware piggy backed on them... i don't like spyware!

If you go the Kazaa road make sure you download Kazaa Lite. That is the one that doesn't have spyware or advertisements.

Kazaalite!! It's the only way to "share!" No spyware, no stupid ads, and no caps on bitrate for MP3 files. Do a search in Google for kazaalite and...happy downloading 🙂

Stick with WinMX. The rest don't have the selection. Fri-Sat almost everyone has "everything" up. God, do I miss Napster.
