Been there Hank.
4 years ago, I was 350 pounds.
Today... I'm 250.
Like I said before. Don't eat so durn much. Fill up on veggies. Put a protein plug on the bottom. Chicken or fish only.... for now.
When your salad dressing bottle is empty, Fill it half full with another bottle of dressing. Top it of with some vinegar. I put a crap ton of pepper in mine.
Fruit has sugar. But good fiber
Stay away from smoothies, and juices.
You drink water, and unsweetened tea.
Our body treats, stores, breaks down artificial sweeteners the same way as sugar. Keep off those too.
First couple weeks are rough. Body will crave sugar. Don't give in. Banana a day is plenty of sugar.
Here's my goto
Breakfast: A slice of bacon, two eggs fried in the bacon grease. Small bowl of oatmeal. Banana. Sometimes I smoosh the nanner up in my oatmeal. Get the 12 grain style. Good chit. No sugar.
Lunch: 1/4 pound of turkey lunch meat from deli over a good salad. Cucs, carrots, radishes, onions, broccoli, romaine, baby spinach. Cherry mators. The works. Little bit of my watered down dressing.
Supper: grilled chicken, big azz salad.
Eating like this leaves me guilt free come family get togethers and holidays when there are more than acouple varieties
Of desert. And maybe a donut or two after church. I earned them durnit.
After eating healthy for awhile your gonna find that sugar actually makes you feel like chit.
Like other things. You develop a tolerance to sugar.
Good luck.
