What I read was through 2017 and does involve Russia

And according to trump these were bad guys before joining his campaign and bad guys after. He doesn’t mention the during part or why they were hired.

This is the beginning. It just needs to play out.

And oh yea Hillary Hillary Hillary...... indight her and hers if appropriate. Idgaf. But it has nothing to do with this and every time her name is invoked just recognize it’s deversionary. It’s ok but it is what it is.

If she did something wrong lock her up. But yes if the need to invoke her name whenever trump or his crew's legal issues come up it is in deed diversionary. There are plenty of lock her up threads, but it is funny she gets dragged in to threads such as this.

you may have wanted her locked up for 25 years, and I believe that. But it's almost pavlovian when speaking of trump and his slime path..... Hillary. I did it as a joke in the other thread to beat everyone to it. It is so predictable.

Beginning to feel like Watergate, when underlings were charged in the cover-up. I was in college at the time, and actually liked Nixon once he ended the draft. I was certain to go to Nam with a lottery number in the 30's. The conservatives on campus were claiming witch hunt and the liberals were ready to string him up...deja vu all over again...

Question now is: Is there evidence to implicate Trump in any wrong-doing?

Nixon may have survived except for his perjury and obstruction of justice, trying to conceal and then contain the scandal. Trump seems to like that play-book...bad juju...

This will be more interesting than Watergate - Trump has a lot of experience skirting the law. Just look at his bankruptcy track record.

Well, it's worth noting that the charges against these guys have nothing to do with Russia or collusion ... money laundering long before election campaign and lying under oath ... the money laundering stuff was quite well known to Washington insiders but may not have been known to Trump ... which, whether or not he knew about it, reflects quite poorly on him and his judgment (either he knew and thought it was no big deal or didn't know something virtually everyone else did) ...

Truth doesn't matter to his supporters...they believe him when he says it is all FAKE News...there are some who still believe Nixon was not a crook...even with the proof laid out before them.

That's why Trump keeps fighting and belittling the media, not the investigators...his aim is for the court of public opinion...his slice of the public anyways...

...and ...yes...this is just the start...pretty sure Trump and his boys (Eric, Don Jr, Steve) and the rest of them running his campaign are in a heap a trouble...

No hope on my part...wheels have been turning way before any of us realized anything was going on...and yes, the truth will come out...

From the documents of the Papadopoulos guilty plea agreement, he admitted lying about meetings with Russian government officials after he became a member of the the Trump campaign, and lied about reporting on those meetings to people higher up. Like the meeting with Russian govt agents described in the Kushner and Trump Jr emails, those higher up, including Trump and Sessions, have denied they took place. Until the investigations uncovered documents about them...all facts, not fake...

and as the trickle of more damaging truth runs higher up the Trump campaign chain of command...the attacks on the media will intensify, as will the attacks on the credibility of the special prosecutor and the House and Senate investigation committees...and on the Dems and President Hillary...oh wait, she didn't win the election...Trump is the President.

If only Trump and his people had acknowledged these meetings and explained them to the public from the beginning, there wouldn't be this slow train wreck that is over-shadowing his presidency.

I'm pretty sure this is how a Hillary Presidency would've looked like...endless investigations by the GOP led Congress to derail any executive initiatives...and those on the right would be pumping up the noise here rather than tamping it down, like during the Obama terms...

The difference is that there was enough factual evidence of wrongdoing that even though Trump and the GOP controls both the executive branch (the intelligence gatherers and the investigators) and Congress (the over-seers and funders), they can't halt the proceedings.
