Since my thread was such a thought-provoker...I want to introduce you to my hero...my Dad. This photo was taken while he was serving on the USS Rochester CA-124 in the Korean War. He was an enlistee during a time of draft. Served his country well and always looked back on his 4 years of Navy duty with fondness.
