PS This type of thread has shown up periodically over the last number of years as have various wordings of the above statement..

No horses were hurt in the process of writing this text. The author also acknowledges that new over-hyped cigars are out there and require their due.

For an Altadis, Monte White doesn't suck too much...bland, but we'll made and consistent

Howard, I won a box of them several years ago at Dubbin's herf. You remember, the herf where we first met? The herf where you kept winning one humidor after another?

Anyhow, I found them to be nothing special, and traded them away (I think to Fiddler). A few weeks ago I got curious about them, and grabbed 2 Rothchilds here at $3 ea. Again, nothing special, so we agree on these, but someone must like them, as many are willing to pay big bucks for them.

I haven't smoked any because Connie aren't my thing really but a couple people I know love theseeing White Labels. Even turned down my offer of a cc in favor of a white label. I am also not a fan of Altadis cigars so they have two strikes against them for me not to try.
