Know what happens to American kids when their parents commit crimes and are detained? They're taken by CPS... separated from their parents. OMG!!!
Why has nobody complained about that? Hmmmmm.
If you come over here illegally, and there's no way for the US to verify the kids are, in fact, your kids... and you've committed a crime and have been detained... what should they do with the kids?
Is NONE of the responsibility going to be placed SQUARELY where it belongs? The parents who did the crime WITH their kids in tow?

This did NOT happen under Trump's zero tolerance policy used to enforce the border security laws. There are still more than 2,000 children who have been separated from their families... shipped off with scant documentation...their parents and families have no idea where they are and the children have no idea where their parents or families are. Woe is the infant who does not know his name, his mother's name, his place of birth. This is not the law...and is not humane.
The administration is scrambling to put a process in place to right this wrong, one that could have...should have... been avoided...except the Trump government wanted to make this practice a deterrent for illegal immigrants. So Trump is proving what the cons have been saying for a long time... that government is incompetent in most things and should be made small...
or worse, in Trump's administration's case...government can be maliciously negligent...
