Roseanne Barr was fired for tweeting a lame joke that reeked of racism.

The left cheered.

And they cheered because Barr is a Trump supporter.
It had NOTHING to do with making a joke about race.

Now it seems that "right wing cyber nazi's" have outed Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn for tweeting disgusting jokes in the past.
Disney fired James Gunn for the tweets, which deal with Rape and sex with infants. You know: standard subject matter for jokes...

But the left are NOT cheering.

Because Gunn is a liberal who didn't vote for trump.

Unless, of course, they feel that jokes about infant sex is OK as long as it doesn't mention race.

I think NEITHER Barr nor Gunn should be fired for stupid tweets.
But I'm not on the mainstream left nor from the extreme right wing.
So your mileage may vary.

He's a pedo and deserves all the consequences...seems the axe was dropped pretty quickly...

Hope the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise survives and continues its high level...

Both were fired for doing stupid ****. Seems consistent. One is more visible and has more name recognition than the other thus more buzz. I didn't even know who the other one was.

If you try really hard you can always see something where nothing is.

yah...tail prolly blames the libs for the reduction of half gallons of ice cream to 1.5 quarts, at the same price or higher, because libs know most cons can't count (1.5 is MORE than half)...

Have you read the Gunn tweets?

They were both fired. They both had disgusting tweets. Both have segments of the population who disagreed with the firings. Barr is a far more famous person than Gunn. Barr's firing generated far more news than Gunn's due to her greater fame. I agree with the firing of both. I disagree that they were fired due to the extreme left and the extreme right. They were fired due to decisions by their employers, who were well within their rights to fire both people.

Joe. Instead of always trying to compare lib reaction two two different situations (e.g. Trump too weak on Russia/Trump too strong on Iran) just say you think libs are always wrong and not worry about scientific evidence.

I did no such thing.
But I undermined tail's thread.

I should have known better. Tripods and tutus just don't go together.

I would say true, true. But that would be so repetitive. Oh, to late. Did I just use but as a preposition? As you know I am no wordsmith like you. Though I do have idiotic tendencies.
