Buried in the Boston Globe story is this bombshell: “To make up for the dearth of Native American DNA, Bustamante used samples from Mexico, Peru, and Colombia to stand in for Native American.” So all the test proved is that Warren might be 1/64 to 1/1024 Mexican, Peruvian, or Colombian — which again makes her no different than the average white American.

Hunted down Z's article.

Warren has 12 times more Native American blood than a white person from Great Britain and 10 times more than a white person from Utah, the report found.

Really, Great Britain and Utah?

Wouldn't the logical comparison be with white people from Oklahoma?

The University of Pennsylvania filled out a document explaining why it hired a white woman over minority candidates — clear evidence it didn’t view her as a Native American addition. And the Globe interviewed 31 Harvard Law School faculty members who voted on her appointment there, and all said her heritage was not a factor.

Gotta call BS on that one... they had the best of both worlds with her... a white woman that says she's Native... Would they have picked her if she didn't say she was Native? That's the question we'll never know, but my gut tells me no, they wouldn't have. They can come out later and say... oh look, we hired a minority after all. Not buying it.

Well it seems her DNA tests prove she has some South American blood in her. Not sure I’d call that Native American, but since it fits her narrative, why not I guess?

Coming from a population of Trump apologists who will lovingly overlook stupid chit said about himself almost daily... this whole manufactured outrage event is rather mindboggling.

Here’s Trump’s full quote from July:

“Let’s say I’m debating Pocahontas, right?” he said. “I promise you I’ll do this, you know those little kits they sell on television for $2? ‘Learn your heritage.’ … I’m going to get one of those little kits, and, in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims she’s of Indian heritage — because her mother said she has high cheekbones, that’s her only evidence, that her mother said she had high cheekbones — we will take that little kit, and say — but we have to do it gently, because we’re in the #MeToo generation, so we have to be very gentle — and we will very gently take that kit and we will slowly toss it, hoping it doesn’t hit her and injure her arm, even though it only weighs probably 2 ounces, and we will say, ‘I will give you a million dollars for your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian.’”

So, was there a formal debate..?? ever..?? 🤔

Trump's done plenty of crap I don't approve of or pissed me off. As have those that came before him.

No, my faux outrage is over Warren continuing to pretend to be a Native when she's shown time and again she don't GAF about Indians.

Warren is from the swift moving tribe that people often get confused with Cunning Runts.

Z, the Boston Globe story said a little more than that. Naitive Americans migrated across the land mass that connected Asia and North America. Then some of them migrated to Mexico and South America.

Since there is very limited genetic information on native Americans genetic information is used from the countries you stated. Why those are the chosen countries I do not know beyond the fact that native Americans migrated there.

The tribes don't want their members to submit DNA tests, probably so the liberals don't try to make it so people can legally self identify as their tribe.

Z, I dislike her as much as Trump. Baised on how this test determines American Indian heritage, to me it proves nothing. I do find Trumps range of comments amusing.
