The Youngbloods / Jesse Colin Young - a comp of my favorites from them

“Ride the Wind” is so under appreciated and probably little known but it’s one heck of a song.

76F / 79% RH / 14 mph - all in all, a pretty nice day

My buddy from work smoked a tri-tip and texted me to come over and drink beers and watch the game... so we adjourned to the patio and watched from there while we burned a couple smokes with a few beers.

Turned on the iTunes and introduced him and his wife to a few different genres. AC/DC... Live Wire (live from Atlantic recording studios in NYC), Alabama and Allison Moorer (his wife likes country and hadn't heard either), Bruce Hornsby and the Range (his 8 year old daughter is learning piano), Eagles, Elton John, Boz Scaggs... and they were like... dude!

Yeah... musicians... that can sing... and play instruments and stuff. They're both mid 30's. I think we have some converts.

Added a few cuts from the Detroit show from the same tour.

An all-time favorite that I haven’t played in awhile....

J. Geils Band - Full House

“Are you ready to get down? Are you ready for some rock ‘n roll?”

Thanks Spotify!

76F / 97% RH / 9 mph - was pretty sticky and humid earlier, then the rain cooled things down

"Serves you right to suffer baby, serves you right, Your gonna live alone"

J. Geils-Serves You Right To Suffer

I love this song...my ex wife hated the blues, she called it my "feeling sorry for myself music"....anyway whenever we were "disagreeing" I'd put this on and crank it up to "11"...it's funny, because after that I couldn't hear her at all....I could see her lips flapping away, but I couldn't hear anything but some good music
It was prophetic too...she now "Lives Alone"
