First it really pisses me off the media coverage of this in the beginning with them hopping all over it without any proof. The only coverage this should have gotten was what he done as in making a false police report, faking the "Hate Crime" then to boot they should also be boasting about how drastically he should be punished for this.

Two things fall into my head when I think about it.

1. In him doing such and the media playing along to start with just got more of the minorities in an all out uproar. This does nothing but extrude more hate, more people up in arms over such because they bought into his lies and the media's BS coverage from the beginning. So I kind of see this as what he has done and what the media has done as a hate crime in itself.

2. In him doing such I feel he has taken away from those victims of true hate crimes. I view it in the same manner as I do of those that kneel during the anthem. It is very disrespectful and demeaning. I feel it takes away from what they have had to suffer.

I am not sure this would put me in the liberal spectrum but, I do hope it puts me on the "Common Sense" side of the fence.

I never really have viewed myself or others as Liberal or Conservative I just try to view it all with some dignity and sense.

To be brutally honest, I also feel that the media should be held just as accountable of helping insinuate more of the same. Piss on this your fired crap. That is a very small smack on the wrist. I think they should be held on the same server punishment that he should receive. To many damn agendas when it comes to reporting and the media.
