They're already in progress in San Diego replacing fencing with those 30' tall steel slats. I guess the state of CA warned local businesses not to bid on the contract, so a bidness from Texas is doing it.

maybe, but he really does have to veto to be consistent, whether right or wrong.

I could be wrong but it sounds like most GOP votes to stop him were a matter of supporting the Constitutional provision assigning the use of moneys to Congress as a way to avoid ANY President from being too powerful, a provision written with Revolutionary War wariness of the King of England's power...not necessarily a vote declaring their backing the need for this wall or not.
