Remember the "Mayberry RFD" show when Barney Fife (Don Knotts) bought the WW II motorcycle with/sidecar and was patrolling the highways with it? Charlie

Hey Rick, if your friend is ever wanting to sell her, drop me a line...I showed the picture to a guy that I play paintball with and he fell in love (he rode them all through Europe during WWII as a courier)....

I still think back to this day, I would love to have one of the old man's Harleys that always sat in the garage.

I read a story years ago in some chopper magazine about a guy who went to an auction and won a bid on a three crates full of "machine parts." Inside where three brand new bikes just like that, packed in grease! He sold one, donated one to a museum, and kept one. Totally cool.

Rick, my great uncles got one nearly identical with a sidecar!! One job in the war was teaching motorcycle operation and safety. i believe he was stationed in Africa. hes got lots of memorabila, like a jewel incrusted officers sword and ruger.

Cigarik, I remember that article. Back in '89 or'90. All my pop ever got at those auctions were machine parts.
