Although they've sold out, and are now making more mainstream, 'radio-friendly' music, I still love Slipknot. Their self-titled album will forever be one of the most brutal assaults metal has ever seen, and will remain among the tops in my collection.

If you like Slipknot, may I recommend: Nothingface, Trivium, Chimaira and Darkest Hour.

"If you're 5 5 5 then I'm 6 6 6"

They bring a lot of energy to live shows. It's an amazing rush being out on the floor among the crazies.

Hey Steve, have you heard Chimaira's new album? Real heavy.

They're latest is self-titled, Chimaira. It's good, but I haven't listened to it much. I just saw them live again about 2 months ago, and was hoping they'd play more tracks from it, but they played mostly old stuff from 'The Impossibility of Reason' and prior. Fortunately, 'The Impossibility of Reason' is my favorite album of theirs. There’s nothing like being on the floor during “Pure Hatred”, “Power Trip” and “Cleansation”.

I remember these guys when they were Bobby Brown's backup dancers.

Man, they really moved on My Prerogative.

I say-if you like these guys may I suggest: anger management classes, yoga, and meditation? Sorry, couldn't pass that up. Man I'm become quite a curmudgeon in my dotage... Bloody, they were better on "hammer time" (c;

LMAO!!!

Pretty silly & contrived, isn't it Ruggy?

I've never hear their music, but I see this & I think of a bunch of teenage boys all dressed up mugging for the camera...

Oooooooooh, so scariest.

Bloody, I’m not a metal fan so I can't tell you about their music but the costume's are silly. I enjoy serious music. My favorites are either Zamfir, master of the pan flute or Gregorian chants. Now that's music...

Eod, When you get to Japan, check out some Kabuki(spelling?). They use a bit less make up but maybe the music is similar.

Sorry to threadjack, EODUSMC.

Ruggy, you haven't lived until you play Slim Whitman's greatest hits. Did you know that the man outsold Elvis in Europe for 1 year!!

The man's yodeling will bring tears to your eyes.

Zamfir, hmmmmmm, didn't he start off on the skin flute??

Ruggy, you face your "shortcomings" (spelling) head-on & still don't give a darn. LOL!

Dats wot I likes 'bout ju.

I was going to call you with the circus- attired Bay City Rollers and raise you a prancing Prince, but then I realized that these are mostly visuals.

You win!!!

Btw, speaking of spooky/scary (besides the band pictured above), have you seen Kenny Rogers recently?!

He looks like a goateed Junior Samples (Heehaw) with a short, two-toned, haircut that looks like a bad Maaco paint job.

(Sorry for the threadjack, AGAIN, eodusmc)
