Is white nationalist a group or a description of specific beliefs?

So if this dude is a white nationalist who targeted browns we shouldn’t hurt his feelings by calling him that or is it more about his dues may not be current?

If there's one thing I've learned from cbid is that racists really get their feefees hurt when you talk about racism and white nationalism.

For a group that likes to be identified as "proud" they really don't have much pride in their identity.

And again I accept it’s fresh and new info may emerge. Thus slow down to draw conclusions.

I doubt given what I know he’s an environmentalist who is just trying to save the planet (unless somehow the browns are ruining it) but we will see. He seems to have made it clear he was targeting Mexicans because his country has been overrun.

I do think the words and actions of our leaders matter no matter of and perhaps even specifically based on the medium used. It’s not too much to want decency and recognize a lack of contributes to this crap.

Contributing is very different than sole cause. The latter provides another out to not think.

By the way there was a rush to blame white nationalism for the Gilroy murders. And it looks like that was wrong. That was the press not the investigators.

If the point is simply to slow down I get that and agree. If that’s the case our words are just crossing.

OK.

Everyone should be treated as an individual unless they specifically designate themselves as belonging to a group.
OR - if it fits your alarmist purposes

Sorry

So you can’t be a white nationalist unless you specifically say you are?. Even if all or most of your words and actions say otherwise.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck....

Nope don’t buy it. I don’t buy it the other way either when it morphs into anti bullying pc crap.

I’m proud that my post number is stuck at 1776. Maybe that makes me a nationalist. And I am white. So I guess that makes me a Nazi.

Or maybe I’m just a patriotic fella...

huh...one antifa nutjob commits suicide by cops after flinging some firebombs and the cons go crazy...

another among a long line of white nationalists commits mass murders, and *crickets*...Fox News emphasized the killer is the only one responsible.... but played up the Washington nut's links to antifa...

is it my imagination, or has white nationalism spawned more hate and violence? and is that acceptable to cons/con media?

just asking ... for a friend...

Absolutely absurd and a way to deflect from giving any serious though. I expected better. I honestly don’t get why the deflection from you of all people

If the guys a white nationalists nut targeting browns he simply is. We’ll find out more but touse the brainwashed by press defense combined with I like olives is weird. What’s going on here? What am I missing. I’m usually the open minded fencepost that pisses folks off. What’s the sensitivity here?

I gotta bad feeling I'm about to write a long winded post... Apologies in advance....

I've read the manifesto through a number of times... I definitely see how parts of it - taken away from the other parts - paint a picture of a young man who hates non whites...

When consumed in whole, the manifesto appears to paint a portrait of an angry young man who, in a Most literal way, is out of touch with reality...

His anger appears to stem from his frustration over things outside of his control including, but not limited to, political inaction on climate change from both parties, his fellow countrymens complacency on climate issues, and uncontrolled immigration that he sees resulting in a political monopoly...

He touts his pride in both his country and his state - his culture even - but never his race...

He clearly espouses anti immigration rhetoric but simultaneously expresses disgust at the idea of an all white America...

Finally, he expresses his concern based on debunked scientific claims that breeding between races results in harm for all races.... Not the superior white race.... All races...

So who actually cares? Why does any of that matter? Why even read the crap this tyrant wrote?

I believe the kkk should be allowed to March down main street...

I think people with bad ideas can change...

I think you can have dinner with a Nazi without being a Nazi...

I think we should all be members of 8ch...

I think the shadows are packed with Patrick Crusius's... and I think the only 2 things that could've stopped him from doing what he did were a) open conversations that intelligently challenged his beliefs and b) the same tools every single one of us need to accept the things we cant change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know one from the other...

When we paint with a broad brush, we miss the small divots and grooves that are unique to each canvas...

If we decide Patrick Cruscius did what he did simply because he's a white supremacist instead of addressing the specific root causes - both the ones he himself identifies and the ones identifiable by those around him - then we will endure wave upon wave of Patrick Cruscius's storming from the shadows with varying poorly-formed opinions and easily debunkable manifestos...

That's all I got... Sorry if I pissed anyone off or came off as disrespectful to the situation... That wasn't the intent...

“Actually the Hispanic community was not my target before I read The Great Replacement.”

Wikipedia lists this novel as a “white nationalist right-wing conspiracy theory.” It’s interesting this novel would affect him so deeply that he would change his original target. I wonder who that was?
