To the Team at Operation From the Heart, As I reach the end of my tour, I wanted to provide one final thank you before heading home. While I still have a few weeks left, it has been incredible to receive the two packages from your organization. I cannot describe the immense pleasure and satisfaction it has been to share these packages with members of our team from all over the globe. With the cooler weather here in Iraq we gathered almost nightly to enjoy the snacks, cigars, and pipes around a small fire. Being able to share something with each other, and savor small luxuries was an immense joy and distraction from the normal day. The corn cob pipes were actually quite a hit, as many people didn't realize that they were an actual thing. Regardless, it was a true treat, and I wanted to let you know from the bottom of our hearts here in Iraq how much it meant to receive them from you all.
