Got this aerial photo of the latest road project I have been involved with...the extension of MD Route 43 from Philadelphia Road to Eastern Avenue. Man can we move some dirt in a hurry these days.

I've done a little bit of civil engineering in a past life (only as part of a big environmental project that we were doing at a cement plant.) I liked it a lot more than environmental engineering!!!

What town is that near?

MD Route 43 is also known as White Marsh Boulevard...the extension you see is running east from Interstate 95.

I was going to ask if that was 95. Traveled it many times. Is that to help with the traffic to the whitemarsh mall? Or the pain in the A** back ups at the beltway?

Actually the intention is to open up a huge section of undeveloped land in Eastern Baltimore County to industrial/commercial development. It is also intended to alleviate the problem of getting from the east over to the Beltway and 95.
