this is what it actually looks like when all the pieces are put together in formation....

I have about 12 solid hours in this one with probably another 5 to go before completed project..

I think you finished your "project" too early. Now your display case will have an empty bottle in it.

Nice job.

LMAO... Actually that bottle used to belong to JJ.. he left it here partially empty after the Land Of Lincoln Herf in 2002...

The shadowbox itself has another 3-4 hrs work left to do on it... It has been an experience for sure!

Hog

Ha!

I knew it was a display for one of my old monster models!

Is it a solar oven?

Ok not just wood anymore, but it would be better with a crown bottle.

uummmm. it's a microwave.

Beautiful work!

You and Blacky are true artisans!

Great looking piece. It will look even better when you throw out that empty bottle of rot-gut and get you some good whiskey..... lol

Thanks All!!! it will look even better completed all the way to finish... and wait until you see the laser engraving I had done on the front door of this peice...

Yep I chickened out at trying a first time face routing on this work.... no way did I want to have to start over with another door cutout and add to my already piling up for winter firewood!! LOL

... that bottle used to belong to JJ ... he

left it here partially empty ...

====================================

I'm surprised he'd do that ... last time JJ was here, he had a bottle that was partially empty when he got off the plane and by the time he went home, there was nothing 'partial' about the emptiness of that one and more than a few others ... LOL

LOL! JJ sounds like a party machine.

Nice work Hog! You are quite a craftsman! Somehow I've never had the patience it takes to make something as intricate as that.

Have a great weekend!

Take a look at a dictionary or an encyclopedia that has illustrations by various words ... JJs image will be right next to the phrase 'party machine' ... absolute truth ...

Hey now! LOL

Actually I did buy that bottle but I think Rookie139 drank most of it.

ah, speaking of the party machine ... here he is now ...

How's things, Jimbo??
