clickbangdead to be specific.

Ya gotta be real careful what you say around here. I mentioned recently that I smoked a Johnny-O culebra with knokmdwn when he was in town last week and it was the first I had ever had.
Yesterday a package arrived with a "kit to build your own culebra".

2 twist ties
Monte Especial #1
Cohiba Lancero
Trini Fundadores

Three of the very best lanceros Cuba has to offer. I'm not about to damage these cigars twisting them into that shape but, if I did, it would prolly be the best culebra ever made.

Oh, and the kit also included a real Partagas culebra in it's coffin just so I had a model to work from.

Very creative David and they will all be enjoyed during the coming holidays.=d>

The idea seriously just popped into my head when I read the post, and you know what they say about feeding into your urges... LOL

Honestly, it's kinda annoying, because you're correct they are the creme de la creme of Cuban Lanceros......but that's because they're the ONLY Cuban lanceros. There's the Especial no. 2., but that's just a shorter Especial. I don't currently have any NC lanceros but the Cain F's and the Cain is slightly shorter, so that wouldn't do. Anyway, I've only had two culebras in my life, so we'll be even after you smoke that Partagas, as I've just had the Partagas and the Tatajue one, both of which were stellar. Under appreciated vitola for sure, and I'm certain they will go the way of the dodo soon enough to be replaced by a 6x80 monstrosity.

There are still a couple others that can be considered as lanceros I guess. PL Montecarlos and LGC MdO #4 are in the range. Always loved the MdO #2 until they were discontinued.

Years ago I did buy the Tatuaje culebra but it was for a gift to Dan at the Colorado herf.
