Its a toy box trailer with a rear cargo door so we can load the bike up into the living/dinning room

It has a front bunk out (like a pop up camper) you can see the panel that drops down in the front

It also has a side bunk out on the left side

That's a really nice travel trailer. Does the side bunk work like a pop-up, too, or is it a hard slide?

Is Sturgis "boondocking" or do you have hook-ups there? I would think you'd need the AC to get some sleep.

the side bunk out is a tent too.

We have a site at a campground near Mt Rushmore with full hookups

But going out and coming back we may have to boondock

I wanted to stay at the Buffalo Chip campground

but I don't think I would get any sleep there

Use to be stupid like that. Ride 600 miles in a day to go to a rally with a tent strapped to the fender, one pair of jeans 3 shirts and would take my old underwear so I could throw them away afer a couple of days of laying in the mud. Put more miles going to a rally then riding around there.

I got nothing to prove

Then ya know what.... I got a decent job.

I still put in 400 mile days but thats just around here and over night trips

But when I am gonna be with the wife and for trips of over a week yeah we take the camper.

We have more room to carry more stuff. we have a soft bed at night and a way to get home if the bike breaks down.

And guess what.. while we are at the rally we log about 400 miles a day riding around

Not just laying drunk in the campsite holding beads to throw at women and bragging how I rode 600 miles a day to get there while some shade tree mechanic is trying to fix your bike with a pair of vice grips and a slotted screwdriver.

Laconia, Daytona, Myrtle Beach

Been there done that got the t shirt and got smart

You guys ride up to sturgis and I'll buy ya a beer

I'll be waiting with the large cooler sitting next to the campfire cooking buffalo steaks and smoking a Torono

I'll be the clean one looking all rested and ready to ride

Hell I rode my bike to Sturgis every year for 3 years running in the 80's. I was living in Spearfish, 18 or so miles away at the time...LOL

Have a great time EI I'm truly envious. Ifin you make it over to Spearfish do me a favor and pop into "Dans Back Porch" a bar on main steet and have a cold one on me, take a few pics of the place too if it's still there. Met many a sweet young college honey in that old dive when I lived there.
