Wonder where the figures come from. You are not allowed to ask on the census any more.

Come on down to a border state...…….I think you'll agree "Invasion" is a pretty fair assessment

If you look at the statistics presented, you really can't come to any other conclusion.

We should pass Voter ID laws in all states so Trump cannot steal another election![whip]

So how many of you have a drop of Irish, Italian or German blood in you? Back in the mid-19th century your ancestors where the invaders. And now you want to raise the Know Nothing Party back up to keep all of these Hispanics out.

Pretty sure the groups you're talking about entered through Ellis Island and were, ahem...DOCUMENTED!

Nope. Just the illegal ones.

But the bleeding hearts crying "this is not who we are" have been in control of many of our immigration regulations and laws for the last 30-40 years.

Well said, Rick and John.

The dramatic rise, and the speed in which it happened, is telling.

Calling a group of people who would become citizens if the opportunity were available an "invasion" is both inaccurate and intentionally inflammatory.

If you really think it's an invasion then why haven't you gone and killed some to protect America? You've got a gun... Go get to work big boy

Why you make it seem unobtainable the LEGAL way! I value citizenship a lot more than some freebie bauble or a sad pitch for a voting bloc.

You guys have got it way wrong.

Get off you lazy backsides and open a business. Hire the undocumented, pay them nothing, and call ICE if they get upity.

Our laws support the US businessman to fully exploit natural resources.

That’ll make her great again!

I can't imagine what it's like in a border state.
Here in Massachusetts we see abuse all the time. Usually the simple hiring of laborers, but also the blatant disregard for local housing regulations. (and the burden it puts on infrastructure and the environment).
But we'd rather chase down a plastic straw than enforce existing laws.

Interesting read on the history of US Immigration

I particularly liked Reagan's Amnesty law. (i.e. Simson-Mazzoli Act) 🌫

Reagan and Bush amnesty laws were a prime example of bass akward legislation.

First you have to secure the border. And then you can begin discussions on what to do with those already here.
