I bought 2 cases in 1993. Drink a bottle per year. Very interesting to enjoy the progression. This is still improving.

Sweet and cheap, had to have another few sips, LOL.

Wife likes sweet wines, but this was almost too sweet. Her palate is evolving towards slightly drier stuff. I'm ruined for life, hehe.

AND, yessir Frank, it is spelled out below the flavor, not just the big K in the circle. 10 percent alcohol, so not my normal high proof whiskey, but OH SO YUMMY. Elderberry is likely more of a Southern thang. I gathered enough wild ones to make a 6 gallon batch and then racked it down until it was finished in a 5 gallon glass carboy about 22-23 years ago, just after my divorce, and when I finally sold the house, I moved the finished 5 gallon carboy to my brother's basement, but on one of my trips out on the riverboat, the airlock went dry and I didn't try to keep it up. Pretty sure it's still sitting in the same spot, just gone insipid, most likely.

2013 Josh cabernet sauvignon - very good - we'll see how it compares to the 2016 later this week.

Also a nice American Syrah from a local "Gone With The Wind" winery here in SD - a little on the sweet side for a red, but not bad, finished the bottle one evening last week!
