2018 Oregon Route Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

not bad, but not quite for me...a bit too earthy, I'm looking for maybe thinner/lighter pinot noir.

2016 Valley View Vineyards Tempranillo

Valley View is a local high volume(ish) producer that makes decent wine, this one is thin for a Tempranillo and acidic but it’s ok. I’d have rather had a cheap Spanish one over this but the store where I went didn’t have any and it was on sale for $9.99.

Made butter chicken and rice for dinner.

Frank, stick with Provence and Languedoc and Roussillon for rose, you will never go wrong.

sure seems true.
have had a Greek roditi (sp?) once or twice that I enjoyed.
Perhaps I'm not critical enough yet.

Not saying I wouldn't flip over an expensive rose, but year after year I've been more than happy with <$20/bottles of the pink juice. and most of those were < $15!
Can't say the same for pinot noirs and cabs.

now that I think about it, didn't you send the roditi in that crate of rose?

last night, 2018 Rascal Pinot Noir...(the Great Oregon Wine Company)

Yes, I did. Try a high quality rose, it will be an eye opening experience. Black Bird, Elk Cove, Il Poggione, La Spinetta, Pascal Jolevet, Petite Bourgeois, Alain Juame, Puech Haut, La Farge, to name a few. In relative terms they are inexpensive. My list above ranges from 11 to 25.

So sweet! Wine's not my thing, so I'm drinking it from a pilsner glass.

Mkkkkk, that doesn't count as wine. Z, even a Karen wouldn't drink that.

2016, Austin Hope Cabernet Savignon, Paso Robles, California. An absolute WOW! 98 point review from Vinus is spot on.
