On a brighter note, all of humankind will be killed off by COVID-19.

We know it is highly infectious.
We do not know if antibodies provide any immunity from catching it again.
We do not know if the herd immunity concept applies.
There is no vaccine.

Based on what we know, the virus will continue to circulate until everyone is dead. This is factually correct until it is not.

CDC released new guidelines yesterday. Rather dumbed down, but maybe for the best. People are going to make their own decisions. I can disagree with them, but in all honesty I cannot blame them. In all likelihood HD is right. Damn, it pissed me off to say that. This pandemic is going to have to burn through the worlds population. My curiosity is will the death rate go down on the 2nd, 3rd and so on times though the population. The population in significantly poor health we be much lower after each pass. The virus appears to be mutating towards a lower morbidity. That is is if the virus started in Europe. If it started in China the and the morbidity is increasing overpopulation will eventually not be a problem. In truth I am not overly worried about the death rate. The infamation long term damage issues will have a far greater impact.

The auto donation buttons say 250, 100, 50, 42(wtf) or any amount. There isn't a minimum but it's too late. You had to donate by 11:59PM las night to get on the list he is reading today. And he was looking for all of our names tonight. He was checking the list, checking it twice, tryin to figure out who's naughty and nice. Unlike Santa though he punishes the naughty.
