Hey Shupe, I'm about the most vocal Cub fan here on the board. Country is another. We used to have the evening Cubs report but it was bashed so heavily, we quit. We got comments like "are we gonna have to read about the Cubs every night?" Of course, it was slightly more brutal than that, but if we post on here, we know we'll have our detractors. Lots of baseball fans on here. It's a great board.

Another die-hard Cubs fan who remembers standing in the bleachers at Wrigley with a glove waiting for a ball to come my way between bites of my Oscar Mayer smokie link back during the days of Ernie Banks and Fergie Jenkins and Ron Santo. One of the many great places to be when one is in Chi-town.

I know exactly where that that is! I bike ride to Wrigley often and stop outside the fire station that is a couple doors down and watch and listen to the game from the outside.

this rooftop is called the waveland baseball club and yes it is right next door to the fire house and pretty darn close to the mcdonalds. as far as neighbor i live in western nebraska and make a few trips a year to chicago for entertainment purposes and a love of that great city. just a fluke getting on the rooftop we had tix in the park the first two days and began emailing rooftops for the 3rd of july and they let us in. fun!

There is no team in any sport today who's fans represent each game so much that it is nearly impossible to even stand atop the neighboring buildings around the stadium.
