I thought this was going to be GWB with the banner "Mission accomplished" behind him.

johnfs,

Who would you prefer do your dying for you? Unfortunately, in this world, someone has to to preserve your freedom to ridicule any President of the US.

BTW, what does the 'fs' stand for?

No, Iraq did not invade US.

Neither did Germany in WWI
Neither did Germany or Italy in WWII
Neither did Korea in that war
Neither did Vietnam in that war
Neither did Iraq in Desert Storm
Nor did Bosnia in that one.

What's your point?

I'm sorry you're so obsessed with your hatred for the current administration that you couldn't simply enjoy the picture. I like this series of pics.

wjmiskelly, I never said anything about hate. That's something you made up in your own mind. I saw the caption and "Mission Accomplished" is what came to mind.

You didn't mention hate - I inferred it. If I was wrong, I'm sorry. Still, when you saw the picture you obviously realized that you were mistaken. Why post your initial thoughts? Because you thought we would find them enlightening? Because you just had to get it off your chest? Or because you enjoy running down the current administration? Or is there another reason I'm missing?

It's not only you - I'm just tired of hearing people find excuses for taking pot-shots at the president and his administration. I first grew tired of it about 10 years ago. It's the same old thing, just coming from the other side. Just my 2 cents.

Again, if I was too harsh or unfair, I'm sorry.

wjmiskelly, I have the right, and wanted, to express my thoughts and opinions, just as everybody else can and does.

All presidential adminstrations get critized, one way or another, that is the nature of the positions.

Now was I disrespectful to the post and host? is just a matter of opinion. Were you too harsh? NAH! I say your opinions as important as mine, and in this kind of forum, as opposed to face to face, it is a little too easy to hack on, or take it as a slam.

Thanks,

J
