I recently ordered 10 of these and I just smoked the first one after keeping it in a well managed humidor for three weeks after receiving it and it was basically unsmokable. The draw was completly plugged. I am hopping they are not all this way and I was curious to hear from anyone else that has ordered these recently. What was your experience?

I haven't had one of these in awhile but don't recall having draw issues. Either store them in lower RH and / or sit on them for a few more weeks, even months. If none of that works, get a PerfecDraw tool.

I have smoked these recently, bought a ten pack. I do not recall an unsmokable draw on these cigars, I've smoked 3. I remember a firm draw, but I prefer that type of smoke.

These were Wheel's favorite smoke iirc. Probably bought up all the good ones and Nurse Terry is hoarding them now.

Cohiba seems to have a lot of quality control problems. I have been having draw issues with the Macassar, Red Dot, Blue, and Connecticut. I haven't smoked the Black that often.
The Macassars, and others, seem to bee too tightly packed under the band re4sulting in a difficult draw and can be identified by the hardness of the tobacco under or near the band. The firmness should be uniform along the length of the cigar.
Good luck. I've boycotted Cohiba on cigarbid.

Same problem with my last two (5 paks) of Cohiba blacks. Had to aerate the hell out of them just to get a draw even while driving a side by side with no windshield. Pretty unimpressed.

Just thought I'd post an update. This pack of 10 Cohiba Black Robustos has prompted me to buy the "Perfect Draw" tool and was able to smoke most of them. Only two were able to be smoked without alteration. I was tempted to contact customer support as another commenter said and see if they would replace them, but I honestly have little hope that they would be much better. I wasn't just the draw. There were very noticeable size differences, both in ring gauge and length. Even the bands were sloppily applied with crooked overlaps that didn't even come close to matching the pattern. I have seen more impressive appearances from a $3 cigar. Now I know that price is not necessarily an indication of quality in the world of cigars, but with a name like Cohiba I expected more. I have had many Cohibas before (years ago) and the quality was great, so I'm not sure what is going on. I'm sure the Cuban Cohibas are still great, but these I would not recommend
