I'm glad someone posted a picture of this..

If it's the same one i've been considering..

It holds 225 cigars and is sold by a place I can't mention.

Anyone have one or know about it? How do you like it?

That's the large Credenza model. It's a nice looking humidor, but there seems to be problems with the lift-out trays. The arms aren't very sturdy, and shift around a lot, eventually becoming lose or breaking. Every one I sent out came back to us. It's a shame, because it's really nice looking.

Thank you Steve. You just saved me some money..

What would you recomend for a +200 cigar humidor?

Steve, send one to me.

I'll fix it.

And keep it.

You're welcome....

I'd recommend a cooler or tupperware - much cheaper. If you must have a humidor ofr show then get one that holds at least 300 and is simple.

This looks like something that would come out on "Pimp my Humidor"...

Simple looks better...JMHO...

you may be right.

if i had it to do over, i would have kept those ammoboxs that the bohemians came in. i saved two. they are the best humidors for holding moisture at a steady level

or i would buy one super fancey, inlaid, super expensive one that holds a few dozen cigars and keep my stock in cooler chests.

Gotta agree with the Bassdude here... it'd be difficult to regulate humidity in all parts, too.

Coolerdor or cabinet.

I own several large capacity humidors. Three 350-capacity coolers with a fourth on the way and two 500-capacity Indulgences, to be exact. Everybody here that is an avid cigar freak has a similar arsenal, modified slightly. Brandon has an Indulgence and 4 coolers. Matt has 2-3 coolers and an Indulgence. Tim has an Indulgence. Keith, of course, has a Tower of Power and a Verona.

I usually recommend the Indulgence for larger humidors, when the customer isn't looking for a 6-foot, cabinet-style unit. It works great with an Oasis I, which fits perfectly in the lower storage portion - the paper-wire is just long enough to reach. Plus, the unit will look good in just about any room, without taking up a lot of space.

Steve you forgot to mention my Indulgence!! 😞

Seems that would be the humidor of choice by the CigarBid staff, huh?

Yes, and the majority of our retail outlet customers.

hmmmmmmmm, again.

So...Steve (disregarding the excellent advice offered here while at the same time scrounging for a serious ass deal).......whadja do with the ones you got back?

I sold them through Scratch and Dent auctions, losing a ridiculous amount of money. It was depressing and we had to work without lights for 2 days, but at least they're not taking up space in our warehouse anymore 😉

Well I checked out the Indulgence and that is one nice looking humidor.

How it though at keeping things at the proper humidity?

It just seems that something that size would be hard to regulate

"shoulda been here yesterday dude, the waves were 15 feet tall"

Comment heard whenever I went surfing.

Other related phrases...

"Oh man, I just sold the vette yesterday for less than you offered."

"No, she left about an hour ago. She wanted to see you before moving back east."

"I'm sorry, winning lottery tickets have to be submitted no later than six months after the drawing."

"Oohhh Sorry, we just hired someone this morning...

and now....Et Tu Steve?......

We're in our humidor multiple times each day, so we can tweek it all the time. I use the 2 humidifiers that come with it on the top, and a few Humi-Care jars on the bottom shelf. Keeps my cigars beautifully!

Everyone with a large stock of cigars should have at least one Indulgence table or some other showpiece humi 🙂

I used to think I would rather spend my money on the smokes, but by this point it has probably paid for itself in gifted sticks, because everyone who has seen it knows that I am the "cigar guy." When those non-smokers stumble upon sticks that they know they have no use for, they give them to me!

I also recommend at least a small humi for the office for the same sort of "networking" reasons.

Also, on the Indulgence, I use a couple of Humi-Care jars and the humidity stays quite stable. It took a while to get it there, however. It takes a while to get all of that wood in there moisturized.
