I love Canoes. My sister's Ex-in-laws own a beautiful (and large) home on Johnson's pond in Coventry Rhode Island.

I used to take their canoe out fishing for hours and hours at a time, day after day in the spring, summer and fall. I stayed with them a lot and did chores around the house... landscaping, gutter cleaning, lawn mowing, etc. and they let me take the canoe and the waterski boat out whenever I wanted to. They had a flat bottom canoe with a flat back for a small trolling motor. They didn't have a motor and I prefer to use a paddle anyway.

Great times...

We try to go twice a year. The kids love it.

Never to young to noodle....

I miss floating down the Current, Jacks Fork, Meremac, and 11 point. Used to do that alot.
