In the meeting today he talked about efficacy even with mutations. If it ever mutates enough to curb efficacy it would take about 6 weeks to develop another vaccine.

The amount of mutation to evade efficacy of the current vaccine would be incredible, and if it reaches that point, it would be highly unlikely to be infectious to humans.

But yes, if we get there, modifications to this type of vaccine are relatively easy to make.

I'll wait, it's winter, content to just stay home. Let someone who really needs it get it.

I wanted to punch faces when I hit the post-shot waiting area on round one. It was at least half suits. The azzwholes who make us reuse face masks for a month. My N95 I wear going into covid rooms is from August. We have no more. But they're sitting in the waiting room wearing them, and got their shots.

That's horseshit treatment.

PM me your address. One of my equipment suppliers has both valved and valveless N95s. I'll send you what I can get.

I understand that valved will be awkward in a hospital. Maybe they will let you wear a 3-ply over them? the valveless should be no issue.

I'll take it...almost had a chance last week, when our county announced it was including 65+ year olds in the group getting vaccines...tried getting an appointment, but all the locations were booked...

now the county says it is out of vaccines, and doesn't know when it'll get more...

Volunteered at a POD, got a shot (Pfizer) and a guarantee of the second. Wife has a volunteer shift on the books, hopefully it pans out for her.

One hour of intense chils, sweats, woke me up the morning after the shot. Intense arm soreness for a day. I have heard the response to the second shot is worse...

I think my answer based on todays meeting is yes and as I said before it's a no brainer in my mind, but I do want to talk to my cardiologist and Gynecologist first. Just cause. I don't really know it it moves me up the list or removes me from it. I suspect the former.

Isn't it amazing how they are figuring out it's RNA doing all the heavy lifting while DNA just sits there sucking it's thumb. I'm taking it... after you all take it and I see it's effects on the continuously crotchety. 🌫
