Here is a closeup shot. (and no, its not that kind of home rolled) Mostly long filler with some mixed filler from leftovers. Used a nice thick Honduran wrapper that looks and smells ISOM like, probably grown from cuban seed in Honduras. Filler is 1 leaf Nic seco with the rest Dominican and Nic ligero. Sumatra binder holds it all together. Time for a 6 month nap (minus one, LOL)458567.jpg

Again, very cool. I think it is great that you made your own cigars. Very nice looking cigars by the way.

Ahh so You're the one who sent me those home rolled cigars a few months back. I couldn't remember. I think I'll pull one out tonight. They quite a bit of age on them now...

Yup, that was me Allen, and yours should be the same blend as these. Let me know how it is after all this time. That batch was gone fast and ofcourse I didn`t save any (gotta work on that patience thingy)

Finsihing up the first one now... Lots of clean white smoke. Excellent for smoke rings. Good construction. I used a punch because I was worried about cutting the small cap. Toothy wrapper with small blemishes and not too large veins. Excellent draw! No effort to keep it lit. Nice tight ash. I had to actually break it off. I was worried about not noticing and dropping a long ash in my lap. Very smooth taste. Nutmeg and cedar flavors. Very mild. Is it a Puro? Kind of a singular flavor throughout... Dominican or Nicaraguan tobacco? I can't tell the difference really. It just doesn't taste Honduran. Also a very even burn. Congrats, I think it was a nice smoke. I've paid a few bucks for smokes I didn't like half as much. I still have the box press one to look forward to. Hope I don't offend you with my review. Just my honest opinion.

Thanks again.

Not offended at all. Honesty is always best and I`m glad to read your rewiew.

I tried to stay as close to my last blend like what you got. When I figured out this blend that actually tastes good, I`m stickn with it. Might tamper here and there alittle. I did a few batches that just sucked and for the time it takes to roll them and even to purchase the bakky, I was pissed.

It is filled with mostly Nicaraguan tobaccoa: seco (for flavor), Nicaraguan ligero and viso (for strength, need more, LOL) and Dominican ligero for added flavor and strength. Used the same Honduran wrapper that you had to. They are thick and tough to work with, but nice taste.

I smoked a fresh one tonight and it was strong. Maybe I added plenty of ligero this time, wowzers! Had a nice sweet cedar aroma with hints of burnt coffee and leather, liked it too. Over time these heavy overtones might weaken and turn mild, we`ll see if I can age these this time.

I`m gonna ask santa for a torcedors bench cutter this year for xmas, would be so much easier than using those cheap scissors.
