Bizarre arrest of FBI agent spotlights accusations of bureau corruption


Angry, and armed, the militiamen in Michigan were gearing up, getting ready to unleash their fury over an unjust government and zeroing in on a target who they believed upended their lives with pandemic restrictions: Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

They trained with live assault weapons; skulked around Whitmer’s summer mansion in the dark as they allegedly plotted a wild scheme to kidnap her, even relying on an Iraq war veteran among them for his tactical experience.

The June 2020 plot by the Wolverine Watchmen — which authorities claim included the possible use of a stun gun on Whitmer and talk of blowing up a bridge to prevent cops from giving chase — never came to pass, broken up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a celebrated bust in which 14 people have been arrested so far.

But as it was revealed that the FBI had at least a dozen informants heavily involved in the Watchmen — including that Iraq veteran — critics say the G-Men did as much to prod the plot as they did to prevent it from happening in the first place.

The agents took an active part in the scheme from its inception, according to court filings, evidence and dozens of interviews examined by BuzzFeed. Some members of the Wolverine Watchmen are accusing the feds of entrapment.

One FBI informant from Wisconsin allegedly helped organize meetings where the first inklings of the Whitmer plot surfaced, even paying for hotel rooms and food to entice people to attend, BuzzFeed reported. The Iraq veteran, identified as “Dan” by BuzzFeed, allegedly shelled out for transportation costs to militia meetings and apparently goaded members to advance the plot.

Kareem Johnson, a black, left-wing attorney representing Pete Musico, one of the 14 arrested, told The Post the FBI played an outsize — and, at the very least, inappropriate — part in the incident. Before the bureau was involved, Johnson and other attorneys said, the Watchmen weren’t even considered a violent threat.

“The FBI knew these people had some beliefs and were egging them on and providing help and ammunition,” Johnson said. “They encouraged, helped instigate and escalated the criminal conduct of those individuals. At the end of the day, there were almost as many FBI agents leading the group as the other people in the group.”

It’s not the first time the FBI’s use of informants has come under fire.

Since the 9/11 attacks, the FBI has reportedly recruited thousands of informants. Some, according to a recent investigation in The New York Times that centered on the dubious arrest and conviction of the so-called “Herald Square Bomber” by the use of an informant, said they were retaliated against if they refused.

Shahawar Matin Siraj, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for trying to blow up Herald Square during a 2004 plot. The lonely 21-year-old, who had just moved to New York from Pakistan, ultimately decided he couldn’t go forward with the plan, and apparently backed out of the scheme despite pressure from a pal, Osama Eldawoody, who turned out to be an FBI informant. Siraj was arrested anyway.

Notorious Boston mobster Whitey Bulger always denied it, but the FBI admitted he’d been an informant for several years, beginning in 1975. While dishing out intel about various Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, crime families, Bulger was moved with impunity and without fear of prosecution when running his Winter Hill Gang out of Southie.

And questions still linger about the FBI’s relationship with Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his brother, Dzhokhar, who carried out the deadly bombings at the Boston Marathon in 2013. The Tsarnaevs, however, didn’t make the bombs, and cops in Boston told Newsweek in 2018 they believe the FBI is protecting whoever did.

“It appears to me that there are allegations, with evidentiary support, that the FBI may have or currently is infiltrating, inciting or spawning alleged fringe group operations in this country,” attorney Darren Richie told The Post. “The citizens of this country deserve to know if any of the stories permeating this subject are valid.”

Richie represents ex-DEA special agent Mark Sami Ibrahim, who was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trespassing at the Capitol with a gun during the Jan. 6 riot. Ibrahim allegedly claimed to investigators he was at the Capitol to help a friend who was documenting the event for the FBI.

At least one veteran FBI agent dismissed allegations of “entrapment” against the agency in the Michigan case.

Danny Coulson, a former deputy assistant director of the FBI who led the 1995 search for and arrest of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, told The Post cries of entrapment have long been used by perps and he doesn’t believe the FBI acted improperly in Michigan.

But he said that he and other FBI agents, both past and present, have “very grave concerns” about today’s bureau.

Coulson said he was shocked at the FBI’s tweet last week urging citizens to monitor “family members and peers” for signs of extremism. “The bureau’s job is to collect evidence, not to develop informants,” Coulson said. “That was inappropriate.”

Coulson said he and others are “very upset” the FBI hasn’t arrested anti-government and anti-fascist protesters who have been leading violent demonstrations in Portland and Seattle for more than a year — yet are bearing down so hard on those arrested for the insurrection at the Capitol.

Coulson used to run the Portland, Ore. FBI office and said the FBI has the jurisdiction under racketeering statutes to go after the activists who set fire and vandalized federal office buildings and threatened police.

“I am not demeaning what happened that day,” Coulson said of Jan. 6. “But I’m asking why [those] people are being punished at this level and others aren’t. In Portland and Seattle you clearly have federal laws being violated in plain sight and nothing done.”

Asked for comment, the FBI’s Portland office referred The Post to the bureau’s Washington, DC office, who pointed to FBI Director Chris Wray’s overall statement on FBI Oversight at the House Judiciary Committee last month.

“We do not investigate groups or individuals based on the exercise of First Amendment protected activity alone. But, when we encounter violence and threats to public safety, the FBI will not hesitate to take appropriate action,” Wray said at the time.

Renewed criticism of the FBI’s use of informants comes amid a set of embarrassing episodes for the G-men, starting last week with the arrest of Richard Trask, the lead agent in the attempted kidnapping case involving Whitmer.

Trask, 39, allegedly slammed his wife’s head into a nightstand and choked her with both hands after the pair had attended a swinger’s party, according to a report. The wife, who was covered in blood and had “severe” bruises around her neck, according to court documents, managed to stop the attack by grabbing his crotch, authorities said in court documents.

Last week, Special Agent Karen Veltri in Las Vegas claimed she was sexually harassed by a supervisor, who texted her a photo of a rainbow-colored **** near his crotch, and spoke to her about his “ground balls,” the woman claimed in a lawsuit.

And in the latest black eye for the agency, a top FBI official was accused of having a fling with an underling, then participating in a personnel decision involving her lover. The Thursday report from the U.S. Department of Justice’s inspector general accused Jill Tyson, the assistant director of the bureau’s Office of Congressional Affairs, of misconduct and failing to disclose the relationship.

The missteps and criticisms come as the Biden administration announced that white supremacists and militias inside the US are the biggest threat to national security.

Wayne Manis, a former FBI agent took on the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations and the Weather Underground before retiring in 1994, said the bureau today bears little resemblance to the place he worked for years. Manis, author of the 2017 book “Street Agent: He took on the mob, the Klan and the terrorists-The true story,” said the new FBI has an agenda he doesn’t understand.

“I and many of my friends from the old FBI are completely astounded about seeing things that we would have moved on, being totally ignored over the past year,” he said. “Burning a police station? Where are the arrests? There’ve been multiple incidents of violence by Antifa and BLM activists that fall under FBI statutes. The majority of domestic terrorism is on the left but we’re being told it’s coming from the right.”

Kurt Siuzdak left his job as an FBI agent — after almost 25 years — in March because, he told The Post, bureau management does not hold bosses accountable. He blames that on politicization at the top.

Siuzdak, who is also a lawyer and wrote an upcoming book on whistleblowers, has been in touch with Veltri. Washington, DC, attorney David Shaffer filed a sex harassment suit on Veltri’s behalf last week.

“She got threatened with being investigated for misconduct and they gave the guy who sent her the ****** pic an award for professionalism,” Siuzdak said. “That’s today’s real FBI.”

Whitmer kidnapping case rocked by allegations FBI told informant to lie, delete text messages


Attorneys for alleged members of kidnapping team are claiming FBI deceit and entrapment of innocent people

When the Michigan government announced the foiling of a plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in October of 2020, many applauded the law enforcement agency working the case.

Attorneys for the alleged members of the kidnapping plot, however, are claiming Federal Bureau of Investigation deceit and entrapment of innocent people.

Mlive reported Michael Hills, an attorney for Brandon Caserta, one of six men indicted, claimed an FBI special agent told a paid confidential informant identified as “Dan” to lie, delete messages between them, and implicate an innocent third party.

Hills requested government provide all communications between “Dan” and the FBI.

“These text messages indicate the F.B.I. was pushing their paid agent to actively recruit people into an overt act in furtherance of a conspiracy,” Hills wrote.

“Counsel has found further text messages between (special agent) Impola and Dan indicating Dan should destroy his text messages and instruct Dan to lie and accuse an innocent 3rd party of being a federal agent spy to the founder of Wolverine Watchmen.”

Mlive said Hills provided a transcript of the FBI agent, who allegedly texted: “Copy. Best thing to do is deny and accuse somebody else like Trent.” The agent, again allegedly, instructed the informant to “Be sure to delete these.”

If corroborated, the messages would add to allegations the FBI may have entrapped several people in this plot.

“The F.B.I is instructing a paid F.B.I. informant to lie and paint an innocent citizen as an undercover federal agent to a man they claim is the head of a domestic terrorist organization, who they claim is paranoid about being infiltrated by the feds, who they claim has bragged about tossing a Molotov cocktail into a police officer’s house,” Hills said. “This behavior, evidenced by the telephonic communication between F.B.I. handler Impola and Dan, casts a dark shadow over the credibility of this investigation and demonstrates the need for immediate disclosure as demanded.”

However, the government argues these people weren’t entrapped and chose to pursue a radical agenda.

In July 2021, Buzzfeed reported the FBI was involved when the plot began and even used informants to encourage the group to carry out its plans. Militiamen say this is entrapment and claim they couldn’t have advanced the plot without government informants, who went as far as to lead military training simulations.

The lead FBI agent credited with foiling the plot, special Agent Richard Trask, 39, was arrested in July and charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm after allegedly beating and choking his wife after returning home from a swinger sex party.

An affidavit alleges Trask got on top of his wife Sandy in their bed and “grabbed the side of her head and smashed it several times on the nightstand."

EXCLUSIVE: FBI Knew Of Hunter Biden’s Missing Laptop As Early As December 2019


The FBI had knowledge that a second laptop had been stolen from Hunter Biden and that laptop contained material making the Biden family a national security risk, subject to Russian influence.


The FBI knew as early as December 2019 that Hunter Biden believed Russians had stolen his laptop, which he believed made him vulnerable to blackmail because of compromising evidence on the laptop combined with his father’s presidential ambitions. This explosive revelation establishes that either Joe Biden lied to the American public, or the intelligence community lied to him.

When The New York Post went public in October 2020 with videos, text messages, and emails from an abandoned MacBook laptop belonging to Hunter Biden, Joe Biden told Americans the laptop was a Russian hoax.

But now Brian Della Rocca, an attorney representing John Paul Mac Isaac, has told me that the video of Hunter Biden telling a prostitute he thought Russians had stolen a second laptop, leaving him susceptible to blackmail, was “definitely on the hard drive” of the Biden MacBook abandoned at Isaac’s shop and later seized by the FBI.

This new revelation establishes that, since December 2019, the FBI had knowledge that a second laptop had been stolen from Hunter Biden and that that laptop contained material making the Biden family a national security risk and subject to Russian influence.

Joe Biden surely received briefings on these risks well before his October 2020 denial of the authenticity of the laptop, so the question is: Did the FBI fail to provide Biden a truthful briefing on this intel, or did Biden fail to level with voters?

One week ago today, The Daily Mail published “unearthed footage” of a naked Hunter Biden telling a prostitute that “the Russians have videos of me doing crazy f-cking sex!” According to The Daily Mail, “after filming himself having sex with the woman using his laptop in January 2019, Hunter left the camera rolling as he recounted a Vegas bender in which he spent ’18 days going round from penthouse suite to penthouse suite,’ sometimes costing $10,000 a night.”

The video continued with Hunter recounting how he had nearly overdosed during the summer of 2018 while partying in Las Vegas with his drug dealer and two other guys. According to the president’s son, after he regained consciousness, “there was this Russian 35-year-old, really nice, pure brunette,” Hunter explained. Soon after, Hunter discovered his laptop was missing.

“I think he’s the one that stole my computer,” Hunter is heard on the tape explaining. “I think the three of them, the three guys that were like a little group. The dealer and his two guys, I took them everywhere,” Hunter explained. “They have videos of me doing this. They have videos of me doing crazy f-cking sex, f-cking, you know,” Hunter added. “My computer, I had taken tons of like, just left like that cam on,” Hunter continued, “and somebody stole it during that period of time.”

The prostitute then asked Hunter if he worried the Russian thieves would try to “blackmail” him. “Yeah, in some way yeah,” Hunter replied, noting his father is “running for president,” and that “I talk about it all the time.”

In its expose from last Wednesday, The Daily Mail omitted any mention of the source of the video, but The Federalist has now confirmed that the blackmail video was contained on the hard drive of the Hunter Biden MacBook abandoned at a Delaware repair shop, The Mac Shop, Inc.

After that MacBook was abandoned, Isaac informed the FBI of its existence. FBI agents later seized the computer from Isaac in December 2019, but by then Isaac had already made a copy of the hard drive.

Isaac later provided a copy of the hard drive to Robert Costello, who at the time served as a lawyer for former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. In October 2020, Giuliani provided a copy of the drive to The New York Post, which ran multiple stories on the details revealed in emails, text messages, and videos, including evidence of a pay-to-play scandal involving Joe Biden.

When the Post broke the story the month before the 2020 presidential election, other media outlets ran cover for the Democrat candidate, with Twitter deplatforming The Post and preventing users from sharing the story.

While the corrupt media blacked out the story, at the final presidential debate before the election, then-President Trump confronted Biden with the details revealed from the MacBook, calling it “the laptop from hell”:

[Y]ou were getting a lot of money from Russia. They were paying you a lot of money, and they probably still are. But now, with what came out today, it’s even worse. All of the emails, the emails, the horrible emails of the kind of money that you were raking in, you and your family. And Joe, you were vice-president when some of this was happening, and it should have never happened. And I think you owe an explanation to the American people.

After denying any improprieties by either himself or his son, Biden responded by telling the American public:

There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant. They have said that this has all the … five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except him and his good friend, Rudy Giuliani.

When Trump countered by asking Biden if he was saying the “laptop is now another Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?” Biden said: “That’s exactly what [I] was told.”

At the time Biden professed to voters in October 2020 that he was told the laptop was another Russian hoax, what the FBI or the intelligence community would have likely told Biden was unknown. However, the revelation that, since December 2019, the FBI had a copy of the video showing Hunter saying Russians had stolen his laptop, and the laptop contained sex videos that put him at risk for blackmail because of his father’s plans to run for president, changes the complexion of things.

This new detail means that the FBI knew, not just of the existence of the MacBook with compromising videos and damaging emails and text messages related to Joe Biden, but that there was a second missing laptop, likely with similar information on it, that had been stolen from Hunter and believed to be in the possession of Russians. The FBI also would know that Hunter had spoken on his father’s presidential ambitions “all the time” and saw himself as a potential blackmail target.

It is unfathomable that the FBI or overall U.S. intelligence agencies would not have immediately briefed then-candidate Biden on the situation. During the run-up to the 2016 election, the FBI and intelligence community provided defense briefings to both the Clinton and Trump campaigns as a matter of course. Amazingly, the FBI used one of those intelligence briefings to spy on Donald Trump based on the Crossfire Hurricane investigation launched based on unverified gossip.

Specifically, on August 17, 2016, as part of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into the Trump campaign, FBI Agent Joe Pientka was tapped to brief Trump, Michael Flynn, and Chris Christie as part of a two-hour meeting warning the team of foreign intelligence threats.” As The Federalist’s Sean Davis previously reported, declassified information would later be established that Pientka had been “selected to attend on behalf of the FBI so he could ‘record’ or ‘overhear’ from Trump, Flynn, or Christie ‘any kind of admission’ that they were colluding with the Russian government to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.”

Even if the FBI hadn’t launched a more-justified investigation into “The Big Guy” based on the concrete evidence contained on the MacBook indicating an illegal pay-to-play agreement involving the former vice president who was then a presidential contender, a defensive briefing to Biden on the risk of Russian blackmail based on Hunter’s stolen second laptop would be indispensable to our national security interests.

In the case of Trump, the FBI would also later insist mere months after first receiving the unverified and now debunked Steele dossier that an Intelligence Community Assessment include details from a former MI6 officer’s memorandums that claimed the Russians had “kompromat” on Trump.

However, because both James Clapper, the former director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, objected to including reporting from the Steele dossier in the text of the Intelligence Community Assessment, it was instead included as a separate “annex,” which then-FBI Director James Comey then briefed Trump on in person.

While Comey claimed he told Trump about the salacious “intel” because the press had the information and he expected it to be made public soon, it was the leak to CNN of the briefing itself that provided a “news” hook for the dossier, resulting in it being published in full soon after.

Unlike the unverified Steele dossier, here the FBI had a MacBook laptop containing a Biden Foundation sticker and photographs, videos, emails, and text, providing for easy confirmation of the authenticity of the source information. And on that laptop was a video of Hunter stating he believed the Russians had a second laptop of his that contained similarly compromising material, which created a blackmail risk given Joe Biden’s then-upcoming presidential run.

Surely, evidence that the Russians had authentic “kompromat” on the Biden family would make both a written intelligence briefing and an in-person briefing to the elder Biden essential. In fact, shortly after the Post published its first article covering the material contained on the MacBook, an unnamed “person familiar with the matter” told USA Today that, “at least in part,” there was a federal investigation underway concerning the MacBook “aimed at determining whether Russia has set its sights on a familiar target: Biden’s father, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.”

“Federal authorities,” according to the source, were also “investigating whether the material supplied to the Post by Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, is part of a smoke bomb of disinformation pushed by Russia.” There is no evidence, however, indicating the material contained on the hard drive is “disinformation,” leaving open a serious question: Did the FBI lie to Biden, or did Biden lie to Americans?

FBI Allegedly Funded White Supremacist Publisher: Court Documents



The FBI allegedly paid a publisher of white supremacist literature more than $144,000 over 16-plus years to serve as a confidential informant, according to recent filings in an ongoing domestic extremism case.

These allegations were made earlier this month by Kaleb Cole, an accused member of the white supremacist group Atomwaffen. Cole was arrested in February 2020 for allegedly participating in an Atomwaffen intimidation campaign against Jewish people and journalists of color.

On Aug. 13, Cole filed a motion to suppress evidence seized during the FBI’s search of his Texas home. According to Cole, the FBI failed to disclose the sordid background of one of its confidential informants in the bureau’s application for a search warrant.

“The CI [confidential informant] is a convicted felon and currently owns and operates a publishing company that distributes white supremacist writings,” Cole said in his Aug. 13 filing.

“The CI began his long career as a professional informant in exchange for consideration regarding his sentence on a federal conviction for possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and an unregistered silencer.

“He has continued this work for pay.”

According to Cole, the FBI has paid this white supremacist more than $144,000, including more than $82,000 for his work in this case.

Cole’s attorneys argued that the FBI’s omissions violate requirements for law enforcement to disclose whether their informants have financial or other ulterior motives for providing information.

“The failure to include the information about the CI’s incentives is made more egregious by the fact that the warrant application incriminated Mr. Cole based almost solely on the alleged observations of the CI,” Cole’s motion said.

The Department of Justice admitted in filings last week that the FBI failed to disclose information about the confidential informant’s criminal history—though prosecutors said the search warrant used against Cole was still legally obtained.

“Although the defense is correct that certain potential impeachment information about the informant was not included in the affidavit, that omission is hardly fatal,” the DOJ said. “The omitted information was limited to the fact that the informant was well compensated by the FBI over a 16-year period, and was convicted of a firearms crime over 15 years ago.”

According to prosecutors, the FBI didn’t include this information because agents believed in good faith that probable cause wasn’t dependent on the informant’s credibility.

Moreover, the FBI didn’t believe that including the informant’s criminal history would have changed the judge’s decision to issue a warrant to search Cole’s home, prosecutors said. In fact, the DOJ argued that the FBI’s use of the informant for more than 16 years suggests that the FBI consistently found the informant reliable.

“And it is far-fetched to suggest that a single 15-year-old firearms conviction would have caused the magistrate judge to refuse to sign off on the warrant,” the DOJ said. “And finally, as the affidavit outlined in great detail, the agents were able to corroborate the information the informant had relayed about the plot.”

The DOJ’s response didn’t address Cole’s allegation that the FBI informant is a white supremacist publisher.

When contacted by The Epoch Times, a DOJ spokesperson said, “Our filings in this case speak for themselves, and we have no additional comment to add at this time.” Cole’s attorney declined to comment, while the FBI’s Houston office directed inquiries to the national press office, which has not responded.

Cole’s case is set for jury trial on Sept. 27.

The allegations about the Atomwaffen informant follow revelations about the heavy role FBI informants played in the failed plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. A Buzzfeed News investigation last month found that the FBI used at least 12 informants involved with the kidnapping—suggesting that the scheme might not have started in the first place without the FBI.

“Working in secret, they [the informants] did more than just passively observe and report on the actions of the suspects. Instead, they had a hand in nearly every aspect of the alleged plot, starting with its inception,” Buzzfeed reported. “The extent of their involvement raises questions as to whether there would have even been a conspiracy without them.”

Questions have also been raised about the role FBI informants may have played in the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill riots.

“What would be shocking and strange is not if the FBI had embedded informants and other infiltrators in the groups planning the January 6 Capitol riot,” said journalist Glenn Greenwald, who’s been extensively documenting various questionable activities of the national security apparatus, in a recent op-ed. “What would be shocking and strange—bizarre and inexplicable—is if the FBI did not have those groups under tight control.”

FBI Spied On Fox News, Recorded Phone Call Between Fox Exec And George Papadopoulos, New Texts Show



New text messages released Thursday show FBI officials spied on a Fox News executive over the course of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation that targeted President Donald Trump as a secret Russian agent who illegally stole the election from Hillary Clinton in 2016. The FBI surveilled and recorded a phone call between former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos and an unnamed vice president at Fox News, according to a text message sent to fired former FBI official Peter Strzok just weeks before Trump was inaugurated as president in 2017.

Agents were targeting former Trump campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos, who later pleaded guilty to making false statements to FBI agents during the Russian collusion investigation. The FBI used the Foreign Agents Registration Act, or FARA, as a legal pretext to investigate and spy on Papadopoulos, as well as former White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and former Trump affiliate Carter Page.

“I know you’re not point on this anymore, but [George Papadopoulos] got a call from the VP at Fox News yesterday, who advised that the government was conducting ‘checks’ on him a few months back,” an unidentified individual whose name is redacted in the report texted to Strzok on January 12, 2017. “I haven’t listed to the exact audio, but I’m guess[ing] that’s the FARA checks that we did with DOJ on our 4 main guys; especially given the article that you pushed yesterday.”

Neither the individual who sent the message to Strzok nor the Fox News executive was named in any of the text messages released on Thursday by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wisc. Strzok was fired from the FBI in 2018 after text messages surfaced showing that he used the Russia collusion investigations as an “insurance policy” to get rid of Trump in the event he became president. The FBI named its investigation of Papadopoulos “Crossfire Typhoon.”

Because the Obama DOJ never received a warrant to spy on Papadopoulos, it is likely that the FBI used a so-called National Security Letter to spy on Papadopoulos and Fox News. By using a National Security Letter, a demand sent to telecommunications firms to provide communications information about a specific federal target, Obama’s DOJ and FBI were able to avoid legal requirements to receive a court-approved warrant to secretly spy on an American citizen.

Papadopoulos did not respond to The Federalist’s request for details about the phone call.

The Obama administration previously targeted former Fox News Washington Correspondent James Rosen in 2010, falsely claiming the Fox reporter was a potential terrorist co-conspirator in order to track Rosen’s movements, telephone records, and personal e-mails. According to Fox News, the Obama White House even seized records containing the phone numbers of Rosen’s parents over the course of the federal inquisition into Rosen. The Obama DOJ falsely accused Rosen of violating the Espionage Act, suggesting that he was a traitor to the United States in order to get access to his phone calls and e-mails.

Although members of the corporate media repeatedly claimed that Trump’s criticism of journalists on Twitter constituted a violent attack on the First Amendment and the free press, no corporate media outlets have criticized the Obama administration for secretly recording phone calls with a cable news network executive without even bothering to seek a warrant.
