I finally got up to Bellingham to visit Castlewa. We've been trying to meet each other for a while now and it was truly my great pleasure to meet him, his wife, two sons, and his friends. Not only did he cook a great steak dinner, but also had a big Texas hold-em poker game and of course he wouldn't let me leave without a few choice cigars too.

Thanks Chris, I will not soon forget your very generous hospitality and I look forward to seeing you and your family again soon.

What a great time!!!! Thom it was a blast. Thanks for riding all the way up to herf and play cards. We had 20 people on three tables and the last game ended at 6:00am. Great company, smokes, and libations. I am looking forward to next time.

I will post some pics soon.

Ahhhh....sweet, sweet Bellingham. Wonderful big little hamlet...it makes Grand Forks look like Fargo...

Seriously, who won the 'Hold 'Em? Castle...how much did you fleece Thom for???!!! (grin)

One of the young fellas won the big game and took home $100 (big spenders up here I know). That was both my money and Thom's. Thom did make it to the last table while I was the very first player out. I needed to make more drinks so I just went all in on 2/7 off suit and then everybody was drinking and happy again. So I finally got into a game that I did win and ended up ahead a few bucks. I believe Thom had cut his losses by that time. I took none of Thom's money this time. I will next time because Sunday morning he was talking about everybodys tells over breakfast and I figured his out during that conversation.

Remember the picture of Thom smiling showing off his chompers. Well get him into a card game and the guy is all business. No smiles, no talking, nothing.

It was a great time I won't soon forget and either will my wife or neighbors!
