Is it normal to receive a substitution for a bid that you won? I won a bid on a five pack of AVO Nicaragua and I received 1 and 4 Isla Del Sol’s.

Less normal than double posts.

But I once won a bid on a 5 pack of Gurkhas and Shana sent me a box a Opus X Power Ranger instead with a nice note telling me how handsome I am.

You were supposed to stop using Victor's photo !

It seems like you got the good end of the deal. I don’t think I did., and they haven’t responded to my email yet either.

You get what Shana gives you!

No soup for you!

As Z walked past you saying Jummmmbaaaalaayyyaaa!

Calling and waiting for an inordinate amount of time seems to the best way to get ahold of CS. But be forewarned, the l-o-n-g wait, will indeed be l-o-n-g. [gonzo]

I picture Palama in a tux checking a cuff link when he posts.

Frank that chit! [ram27bat]

My meds are working. 😰

Those that have met me can certainly attest to my non-consummate Gentleman status. 🤣

Shorts, t-shirt or tank top and slippahs (…aka “shower clogs”…). I haven’t worn long pants since last March and close to 30 years for a tux (…groomsman at a wedding…).

I remember what it was like being a newbie and not knowing WTF was going on, forum-wise, so iffin’ the OP can weather his CS issue and the riff-raff (…not saying you’re a riff or a raff…), who knows, he may stick around and become a viable member.

Or not.

OK, here's the deal Bub -

The Department of Equity here at CBid has decided that the rest

of your AVO's should go to someone a little more deserving.

If you have any concept of social justice and an ounce of decency,

you will support this decision.

We checked your profile and decided that the Isla Del Sol's were better suited

for your morning chats with the rest of the ladies anyway...

Palama is what you may call "a regular guy" with the possible exception of being a fine connoisseur of hats and snack chips.

On the other side Dg is an irregular guy, perhaps even suffering from religious delusions which he would be better off keeping to himself.

Palama's no regular guy. I get what you mean but No, He's super respectful, kind, friendly & empathetic.

Which I find to be very peculiar!

Tony you're a connoisseur of something, just not sure what. You're a dime a dozen type guy. Palama is a one of a kind type guy.

See, Palama would never say something like that.

So Yes, palama. You're a class act. Tux or towel my hats off to you sir!

A shining example of a bruddah of the leaf!

Maybe Biden redistributed your better cigars to someone who needed them more.

[/quote]Is that the best you can do for a compliment ? Freak !

that sub might be a tad one-sided...they must like you at CBid, dweeb...

sure, the AVO Nicaragua is a solid enjoyable cigar, among the better AVOs...

but the Isla Del Sols are in a league of their own...with some patience they become amazingly unbelievable smokes...let them rest at least three years, in their own small humidor, as you do not want them to mingle with the "riff raff" in your regular storage...when they have aged, you will be treated to an unfathomable bounty of flavors, most notably East Indian floral incense that will be memorable...
