so how do i find this package for the person i sent it to. the usps shows it delivered to the right addy but the person never got it! what should i and can i do?

I bought something once off of fleabay once and had the seller add on delivery confirmation. I checked the status one day and it said that it was delivered, but I didn't have it in the mailbox. I got a bit nervous, but it showed up the next day for some reason. I think the mailman just scanned it to show it was delivered, then forgot to actually put it in the mailbox. I imagine that he discovered it when he got back to the post office and still had a box left over.

Give it a day or two, it might pop up out of thin air.

Go to the PO and ask them about the package.
They should know who the Carrier was that "delivered" the package and they can ask them what happened to it.

Why did you wait 7 days to ask the question?

If they didn't post that they received a bomb out of the blue, you could've emailed (or pinged) them to ensure they got it.

To all the noobs, this is why DC's are used.
Unless you want to go to the hassle that MT is going to have to do now, if you send someone a bomb, and they don't post that they got it, ASK them if they received it...
The same goes for packages that YOU receive. Let the bomber know you got it.

#8 i have emailed the person and we have both been on the look out. i just wanted to know if there was anything more i could do about it. i just hate the fact i sent a pack and some smoe at the PO marked as del. when the person never got it. the person that was supposed to get it and i have spoken a few times about it. i am going to make another call and see if i cant get more info. and yes bombs will have to follow....
