Knowledge recently Acquired: Cape Cod Cranberry Dry soda is pretty good (its a regional soft drink from Polar Beverages). Making a gallon of cranberry juice takes about 4,400 cranberries.

Knowledge not recently acquired
: WI produces more than half of the worlds cranberries.

"At 4.64 million barrels [in 2021], Wisconsin cranberry production blew the No. 2 state out of the water: Massachusetts with 2.055 million barrels."

Maybe we should retire the cheese head moniker and replace it with Cran Heads. Cranberry infused cheese... I think we have a thing here, just need some venture capitol money to get it the ball rolling.

Apple pie isn’t American.

The next time you call something "as American as apple pie," you might want to consider the fact that neither apple pies nor apples originally came from America. Apples are in fact native to Asia, and the first recorded recipe for apple pie was actually written in England.

You can hear a blue whale's heartbeat from more than 2 miles away.
The world's largest animal's heart weighs about 400 pounds β€” approximately the size of a small piano.

Georgia is called the Peach State, but South Carolina produces more peaches than Georgia.

Not much on fresh peaches, but peach pie is fantastic.

Washingtonο»Ώ

"...nearly 75% of fresh apples and 45% of processed apples that the country is expected to produce in the 2021/2022 harvest year will come from Washington."
"roughly 10 to 12 billion apples are harvested, all by hand to prevent bruising, for Washington's largest agricultural crop."

actually, I did get the correct answer of the multiple choices, but those numbahs blew me away.
