I'm not a fan of hefeweizen in general. The Paulaner is no exception.

Almost finished chopping up the giant black walnut I dropped a few weeks ago.

Killed 3 chains on one cut only to find a dozen jacketed bullets within the middle 10" of the tree. Was 30" diameter at that point.

They were not from me. The only fmj bullets that could be in trees would be on the west side of my property. I mostly shoot plain lead 22s but an occasional 9mm or 38 might drop a raccoon if I see one and that's what's on my belt.

These looked like full rifle rounds 308 or 30-06.

Anyway. My back isn't up for splitting any more of it. Theres 5 or 6 logs left to split and they're probably 200lbs or more each. I felt like I was flipping tractor tires in a crossfit gym moving those logs to the splitter. Thank God I bought a splitter that tilts vertically. I'd never be able to lift those.

I have no frame of reference to the tire flipping. I've seen videos tho

Hanging around while our oldest granddaughter has soccer practice. I’m totally amazed that two parents would sit in their vehicles with the engines running for the entire time! I guess the cost of gas doesn’t bother them one iota! 😣

Around here I'd say it was because it was cold outside. No idea what the excuse would be in your beck of the ocean

Well, it is 79 degrees right now (…with the wind-chill factor seems more like 76…) so I guess it’s too warm for them?

Morning, peoples. Friday today... for me at least. Heading out for a nephew christening weekend tomorrow. Only about a thousand things to get done before I do.

Storm coming in and temps only getting up to 64 with a chance for a little rain. It will be back into the mid 70's in two days. Gotta get out there early.

Up, coffeed, dog walked... saw a deer on the morning walk through the neighborhood. What kind? I dunno, but Tank did not want to chase it. It scared the crap out of a cat. Walked across the street, car slowed down for it, then it ducked into a yard to get back to the woods.

Kinda cool. Had a small rack on it... maybe 120-150 lbs?

Mornin Ya'll 53 with a high of 74 today and SUNNY!!! =d>

took the bike into the shop yesterday, it wasn't the inner primary seal leaking, just a leak in the front by the stator plug so thats going to save me a chunk of change $$$... he's going to go ahead and check the tensioners and cams... I should be back on the road by mid next week, still time to get some fall riding in and catch the leaves changing down around the rivers!!!

I'm funnin with ya....deer down here are notorious small. There's very little for them to eat and most graze around lakes and creeks...and that brings me to swamps. Just not like sorgum, corn, apples and beets for them to forage on to get huge.
