Our local teamster's union is coordinating with area businesses, etc. to try to get goods down there.
The union has asked me (as the owner of a trucking company) to drive one of my semis down with a trailer loaded with these supplies.
I'm willing to do it, but my wife is afraid for me. With all the talk of looting, shooting, and hijacking, she's not sure she wants me to take the risk.
From what I understand, we wouldn't be leaving for a week or so, and we would be going into Mississippi to make the drop at a Red Cross center.
What do you guys think I should do?
