This letter was written on Sunday. The GOP is trying to spin that the local and state government hadn't asked for help. Well, now we got the memo that proves that they did indeed ask for help. The President got an urgent appeal by the state of Louisiana urging him to allocate his resources to help the situation. Unfortunately, I guess eating cake and playing the guitar are far more important.

The prez is a total ass! This has been the biggest blunder by the american people in the history of our country. To elect a man 2x that doesn't have a clue. If it was some rich son of a Bs, Bush would have been all over it. He and his cronies can make a fast decision when some other country need aid, which will probably never paid it back,But when it come to our own they swear they were taking the mola out of their own pockets. Oh thats right there are no golf courses left to shot the **** in that part of the U S so we don't know how to make a f---ing decision. I guess poor people don't count when it comes to making a fast decision. BITE ME MISTER president

It is a picture of two tuesdays. One in which a spoiled idiot showed everyone how badly he plays guitar. In the other we see Nawlins get destroyed and we find out just how much the spoiled idiot cares about the poor and unfortunate.

Rick, Of course they sent a letter to the feds on Sunday asking for help. I bet every state in the path sent the same letter on Sunday.

Unfortunately for your argument, Katrina made landfall Monday morning. So is what you really mean is Bush didn't pre-act to their request? I also seem to remember the damage seed worse in Mississippi until the bowl that is the city of New Orleans started to flood Tuesday, after most of the response was sent to Mississippi. Once the city flooded, people started shooting at rescuers (even Friday night this was continuing) and then they had to get armed protection before going in to help. But it's all Bush's fault. I bet if you have a bad cigar it's Bush's fault. And when Tey gets one it due to racism...Maybe you two need to follow wag's advice, huh Tey?

Leave it to Rug to politicize legitimate outrage over this administration's handling of this tragedy to something totally non-related.

Well done, Rug. It is your kind of thinking that will ultimately doom my republican party.

Funny you think it's me not Rick politicizing this. You republican party? I think not.

Dwallen, ever called a talk radio show with"I am a life long republican, but....."? That's real popular with liberals. Lots on this board do it too! You should feel right at home with them!

i stopped responding to "him" a long time ago. it serves no useful purpose in any discussion.

i did watch two interviews from fox news with their own correspondents, who may soon get fired.

they both were on the ground, one at the highway where people are locked in and unable to leave, and geraldo, who i'm not fond of, at the astrodome or whatever they call that stadium where people were told to go for safety and are also prevented from leaving.

neither group of people are allowed to leave and supplies are just now coming in after 5 days.

one of the announcers on the scene was interviewing some woman politician, i believe a senator, and he cut her off saying, "i don't think the public is interested in politicians saying how wonderful other politicians are for trying to do something, the honorable this and the honorable that have been in meetings trying to do this or that, while people here at the center of the disaster are walking through **** and dead bodies and have nothing to eat or fresh water."

i expect he will soon be out of a job.

hannity, talking to one of the real reporters on the ground, said we need to get some perspective, and he was cut off by the reporters with "this is the perspective."

if i can find the sites again i will post them.

nothing i can find suggests truth to looters shooting at the police. i don't think it is a race issue, i think it is a class issue.

they are poor, we are rich, **** them until i can get a photo opp.

someones ass needs to be impeached. severals someones.

unfortunately the democratic party stinks. where are their leaders? why isn't that party speaking out.

although i detest the man, i don't know if i can directly blame him. he did of course name someone with no experience at disaster control to be the head of fema.

"it was the best of times. it was the worst of times."

i hope madam de farge does not run out of wool.

Nope. I've never called into a talk radio show.

Nice attempt, tho.
