Morning After thought.
Any amount of exercise is good. Have a basic target every day, and hit it. If you can, exceed it by a little. You don’t have to get crazy.
Deadeye was a motivational factor in getting me moving daily, after my escape from my corporate desk job. If it wasn’t for the dog, I wouldn’t have been at 1,000 steps a day.
The biggest motivation though was my dad. He retired in his mid 50s and simply stop moving. Sat in a chair, having my mom wait on him. It didn’t take long for him to lose all his muscle mass. Getting into an electric recliner has a terrible downside- he now needs it to get out of the chair.
Nothing but skin and bones, leading to regular falls, broken bones, physical therapists in and and out fit the last 10 to 15 years.
Get up, get moving and keeps moving.
